POAT: Port of Aalborg tankstore ApS

POAT is owned by Aalborg Harbor and where built by Skanda A/S in 2011.

The location of the Terminal is Aalborg Olieharbor the adress Benzinvej 3.

POAT contains a circulation of liquid Hazzad Class III products with a total capacity of four tanks of 21.550 m3.

Port of Aalborg Tankstore ApS has the follwing facilities:

1 tank cap. 2.350 m3 (D 16 x H 12 meters)
2 tanke cap. 3.000 m3 (D 16 x H 14 meters)
1 tank cap. 13.200 m2 (D 29 x H 20 meter)s

There may be pumped between the tanks and can be directly into the individual tanks.

All pipes are eqquipped with digital sensors. Indications of the valve position can be monitored via PC control system.

The tank farms are eqquiped with level switch that are audible at high fluid level. The bottom of the tank farms are concrete. The system is monitored by PC-based application for managing and monitoring the import and export operations. It calculates among other continuously, the remaining amount of liquid in the tanks.

The terminal is eqquiped with 3 x 180 m3/h pumps– that provide an export capacity of approximately 540 m3/h.
